Explore & Evidence
You should be able to see what supports health information and how much confidence to place in it.
Where does Explore get information?
Explore is designed to use scholarly and authoritative health sources rather than treating every web page as equivalent evidence. When sources are available, MSH should make them inspectable.
Why does MSH show uncertainty?
Health science is not equally certain in every area. MSH distinguishes established knowledge from emerging evidence, estimates, predictions, observations, and ideas that still need confirmation.
Does a source mean a claim is proven?
No. A citation shows where information came from. Confidence also depends on study design, consistency, population, limitations, and the wider body of evidence.
What about personal observations?
Your experience can be meaningful without being treated as scientific proof. MSH can help you notice and preserve personal patterns while keeping the difference between observation and conclusion visible.
